Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! What a wonderful holiday. I am able to celebrate it with my family in town... it is so much fun. We always play great family games like Uno, Catchphrase, and occasionally Family Business (not one of my faves because I just am not that great at it). I have a cold right now and Keller does too. We are getting better though and I think we're halfway through it. Keller is going to love the food today... he is a big eater, and also loves sweets. Hmmm.. I wonder who he gets that from!!?? Josh is working today, it's not what we had hoped for... but we are working with it. He does get off earlier than usual though! So he will get to join all the fun after work. We are looking forward to it. I'm pretty sure Keller and me are headed to Bama tomorrow with the fam to wrap up Thanksgiving, hopfully Josh can meet us down there. I just love holidays like this and getting to spend time with my loved ones. It really does make you think of all the things that you are thankful for. My list of thanks...

Thank you Lord- you have blessed me and opened my eyes to a beautiful life.

Thank you Josh- you are a loving and supportive hubby and father.

Thank you Keller- you have changed me forever and help me become a better person everyday.

Thank you to my family- we have had some rough times, but it only makes us stronger.

Thank you nature- your surrounding beauty helps me slow down in life and remember what's important.

Thank you Conan O'Brian- your week night show constantly makes me smile and lifts me up after a hard day's work.

Thank you children of the world- your innocence and passion inspires me to be your teacher.

Thank you US troops- your hard work and dedication is deeply appreciated.

Thank you thank you thank you!! The list could go on for a while, but I've got a sick little one and turkey to eat. All my love on this holiday.

Keller is One!

What a year it has been. Can you believe our sweet baby boy, Keller, is already one? I sure can't. The party was Saturday and we had a grand time. Kel was very sleepy through the whole party- he hung in like a trooper though. Josh made great finger foods and a delightful fruit platter. I got to show off my baking skills I never new I had with scrumptious froggy cupcakes. There was a good turn out of friends and family who showered Keller with great gifts. He got everything from Pajamas to Building Blocks- what more could a boy ask for? Keller turning one is very bittersweet for Josh and me. It is so fun to watch him grow and learn but it all happens so fast. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this intelligent, loving and curious little boy! Watch out world!
